A lodge that works a ceremony based on the story of Noah and the flood.

The first authentic record of the degree appears in the minutes of a meeting in Bath in 1790. A Grand Master’s Royal Ark Council was eventually formed to regulate the degree. Today there are over 970 lodges working under the English Constitution.

The qualification for Elevation to membership is that of being a Mark Master Mason.
